The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) office in Dubai brought the #ExperienceSeychelles vibe to the Esquire’s Influencers of the Gulf event, at the Ninive restaurant, in Dubai’s Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
The event took place on March 28, 2018.
Esquire is considered to be the leading men’s magazine in the Middle East. The invite-only and Esquire-branded event was graced by almost 200 VVIPs and Ultra-High Net Worth Individuals, as well as the biggest names on social media.
It provided the perfect setting for a night of networking and promoting Seychelles as a holiday destination to an otherwise unobtainable database.
The advent of social media has opened the creative floodgates for people across the region. In line with the Instagram trend, the Seychelles Tourism Board office in Dubai joined the hype by putting up an #ExperienceSeychelles booth, where attendees readily posed and uploaded their snaps on their social media accounts.
The best snap posted stands the chance of winning an all-expenses paid getaway to the Seychelles islands, sponsored by Seychelles Tourism Board office in Dubai.
The Manager of the Seychelles Tourism Board office in Dubai, Ahmed Fathallah, said: “We are truly elated with the response received from this region. The steady growth in interest and knowledge of the Seychelles islands among people from this region would not have been possible without the help of our trade and media partners.”
As it aims to gather even more interest and in line with the vision of getting more visitors from the Middle East region to choose the destination, the Seychelles Tourism Board office in Dubai will continue to implement activities that will further boost awareness of Seychelles in the region.
