The Seychelles tourism trade will proudly fly its country’s colours at the International Tourismusbörse Berlin (ITB), in Berlin from 5 - 9 March.
Minister Alain St. Ange, the Seychelles Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer, Sherin Naiken as well as the board’s Director of Marketing Rose-Marie Hoareau, leave the country shortly for the world’s largest travel show.
Michel Agrippine, Vahid Jacob and Christina Cecile also from the Seychelles Tourism Board, are also part of the strong heading to the ITB.
ITB is the world's largest travel trade show, through which over 10,000 exhibitors present dream destinations around the world – from Albania to Zimbabwe – and naturally the beautiful Seychelles.
Throughout the four-day event, exhibitors promote their countries at the International Congress Centre Berlin each March, signalling the approach of the summer holidays. About 180,000 visitors come each year to be inspired and informed for their next dream holiday. The 2014 ITB partner country is Mexico.
Visitors can organise their "tour of the world" at ITB Berlin geographically or thematically, as they wish. In several exhibition halls, some of the latest travel trends that go beyond specific countries and regions are presented. These include, for example, cultural tourism, adventure travel and wellness journeys. In addition, the booths for individual countries, concerts, shows and culinary offerings make ITB Berlin an unforgettable experience.
