Senior Marketing Executive at the Seychelles Tourism Board, Amia Jovanovic-Desir, explains that the Indian Ocean Islands’ participation in the fair “reaffirms the strong commitment to further develop and position Seychelles in South Africa and the region”.
Mrs Jovanovic-Desir has joined the Seychelles Tourism Office team based in South Africa from the 30 September to 3 October to further sell Seychelles to the African market.
However the Seychelles Tourism Board also partnered with many in the trade locally for the event.
“We firmly believe our presence together with some trade partners who have responded to our invitation will generate return on investment and the benefits to be derived from these markets in the long-run,” said Mrs Jovanovic-Desir.
Apart from the Seychelles Tourism Board Members, Beachcomber, Sunset Beach Hotel, Constance Hotels, Air Seychelles, L’ Archipel Hotel, Berjaya Beau-Vallon Bay Resort & Casino-Seychelles, Raffles Hotel, Coral Strand Hotel, Kempinski Hotel, Desroches Island Resort, Mason’s Travel, Fregate island Private, Creole Travel Services and the Moorings, have all attended the road-show.
