National Travel Day is a brand new creative concept that gears towards inspiring and encouraging travellers of all levels to think, plan and even book a trip away. The event has two different platforms which were the Speakers Event and Film Screening Event.
At the Speakers Event, Seychelles Tourism Middle East Office and Raffles Praslin Seychelles showcased both the destination and the property to high profile travel experts, adventurers, photographers and TV presenters to plan their next holiday to the Seychelles islands.
Seychelles is an ideal destination for those short holiday breaks or incentive travels as it is a mere 4 ½ hours flight away and no visas are required for any nationality! Contrary to popular belief Seychelles is more than just a beach and honeymoon destination – it offers world-class diving, sailing, fishing, golf, spas, treks, island hopping opportunities, amazing cuisine and caters to families as well.
One of the luxurious properties that the destination can offer is the well known Raffles Praslin, Seychelles, located on the magical island of Praslin, boasting with exquisite villas with private plunge pool, touched by the sublime beauty of white powdered sands and opal-hued oceans. It is the ideal place to indulge in luxury, with the legendary 24 hours Raffles butler service.
While at the Film Screening Event running on the same night held at Wafi Rooftop Gardens, Seychelles and Raffles Praslin Seychelles branding were visible to give the audience the feel of the destination.
We were really impressed on how the event was organized considering that this is their first year. The profile of visitors was really good and it was great to hear that they are considering Seychelles as their next travel destination, says Ahmed Fathallah-Regional Manager, Seychelles Tourism Office Middle East.”
