Seychelles' marine life to draw Brazilian diving enthusiasts by STB
The Seychelles Tourism Board’s newly-opened representation office in Brazil’s economic powerhouse of Sao Paolo, is moving strongly to increase awareness of the islands’ upcoming Festival of the Seas (SUBIOS) notably among the Brazilian travel trade and press.
Diving is a very popular attraction for Brazilian vacationers and a lot of them travel specifically for diving holidays. Seychelles could become the Brazilian divers’ hot-spot with its exceptional marine life around the granitic and coral islands, which are accessible almost all year round.
Recently, the Cable News Network (CNN) rated the beaches of Seychelles as the world’s Number One, making Seychelles top for sun, sand and sea holidays.
Brazil, Argentina and several other Latin American countries have economies with robust growth at a time when most European countries are being hit by recession. The Seychelles Tourism Board views the Latin American as a potentially rich emerging tourism market and is out to claim a fair share of the travel trade.
