Mr Le Gac has been working with the hotel chain for the past 11 years and he now replaces Jacques Charles who has been at Lemuria for four years.
Mr Le Gac has played key roles in the pre-openings of four Constance resorts, including the Ephelia on Mahe island, where he worked for eight months before and after it became operational.
Thanking Mr Jacques for his years of service in Seychelles’ tourism and welcoming Mr Le Gac, Tourism and Culture Minister Alain St Ange noted that Constance Hotels have the biggest resorts in Seychelles, and this he said, is because the group has realised the importance of the destination in the region.
“We value the support of the Constance Hotels to our industry and as we bid farewell to Mr Charles, we also thank him for having participated fully with the ministry and with the tourism board in efforts to consolidate the tourism industry. We hope that Mr Le Gac will continue to ensure that we get the support of Lemuria Resort,” said the minister.
Mr Le Gac has a strong culinary background after years of working in food and beverage.
