“Seychelles remains a strategic destination for Directours,” Corinne Louison, the General Manager Production, Sales and Marketing of Directours said during a meeting with Elsia Grandcourt, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board at the 2012 WTM Tourism Trade Fair in London.

Directours have now blocked booked 40 airline seats on a weekly basis for the Paris to Seychelles run via a Middle East hub.  The level of bookings we are now handling has enabled us to move to this commitment.

Since last September the booking levels by Directours for Seychelles from France has been above the figures for 2011 and forward bookings are showing the continuation of this same trend, which was confirmed during the London meeting in the presence of Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture and of Bernadette Willemin, the Paris based European Director for the Seychelles Tourism Board.

“We have been working with our French Tour Operators partners as we maintained our annual dedicated Seychelles workshops all over France.  Our work is paying off and today the signs are clear that we are seeing a strengthening of the French market,” said Minister Alain St.Ange.

The Minister thanked Corinne Louison of Directours for her continued commitment for Seychelles and assured her that the Tourism Board will continue to work with her in the promotion of the Seychelles.
