Seychelles Tourism Board CEO bids farewell the Cuban Ambassador by STB

Elsia Grandcourt, chief executive officer of the Seychelles Tourism Board, accompanied by her marketing executive Myra Fanchette, paid a farewell visit the Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles, H.E.María Aída Nogales Jiménez.
The meeting which took place at H.E.Nogales Jiménez residence at Bel Eau was also an opportunity for Mrs Grandcourt to express her appreciation for the support and friendship she received from the Cuban Ambassador.
During her four year’s tenure in Seychelles, Ambassador Nogales Jiménez, has been able to experience Seychelles amongst the Seychellois community, an experience to be cherished forever.
Mrs Grandcourt thanked her Excellency for her warm welcome and explained the work being carried out by the Seychelles Tourism Board to increase the visibility of Seychelles as the best island holiday destination.
Mrs Grandcourt also took the opportunity to discuss the growing popularity of the ‘Carnaval International de Victoria’ where a mix of vibrant ethnicity joins to celebrate the melting pot of cultures. The CEO took the time to extend a formal invitation to Cuba to participate in the next year’s edition of the ‘Carnival International de Victoria ’ to be held between February 08th – 10th.
As a parting gift Mrs Grandcourt presented Ambassador Nogales Jiménez with a Seychelles carnival souvenir book and some colourful promotional material.
