People and organisations from all over the world, including the tiny islands of Seychelles, are coming forward in aid of Haiti, following the devastating earthquake which has left the country in ruins.
Hilton Seychelles is amongst those leading by example in Seychelles, by donating a sum of SR 61 300 (US$5 500) to the cause. The money has been collected from the hotel’s staff.
The donation will be given to Médecins Sans Frontières in the form of aid for the people of Haiti.
Such a gesture was initiated by the hotel’s General Manager, Roman Kopacek, and forms part of Hilton’s corporate and social responsibility policy.
